We’re over the moon to announce that we’re teaming up with the Milwaukee Brewers and the super-talented Whitney Nettles on a brand-new mural for the side of our building. And when I say giant, I mean GIANT—it’s going to be over 1,500 square feet of pure awesomeness!
Back in May 2024, the Milwaukee Brewers reached out to see if we’d be interested in a mural project. My immediate response? ABSOLUTELY YES! Ever since we first got the keys to this space, having a mural has been one of my biggest dreams. But, as you know, murals can be pricey, and starting a small business isn’t exactly cheap either. So, the mural dream was put on the “someday” list… until the Brewers made that call and turned our dream into reality!
Their mission is all about supporting local artists and small businesses, bringing art into the sports world, and connecting with the next generation of Brewers fans. I’m beyond proud that they chose our cafe to be part of this amazing initiative.
From the moment we started brainstorming, it was clear that our visions were perfectly aligned. Our shared love for community, imaginative play, and rallying around each other fit seamlessly with their focus on teamwork, playing hard, and cheering on the crew.
We’re beyond excited to work with Milwaukee’s very own Whitney Nettles to bring this vision to life. Over the next two weeks, Whitney will be transforming our east-facing wall with her stunning and inspiring artwork. The mural, aptly named “Field of Play,” beautifully captures our shared goals of community, creativity, and supporting one another.
