we're a real coffee shop & wine bar for grown-ups, with a 2,000 sq. ft. Montessori-inspired indoor play space for little ones, all under one roof in East Tosa. most play spaces are built for kids with coffee on the side. we flipped it.

6505 W. North Ave in Wauwatosa, in the heart of East Tosa (next to Crafty Cow & across from Wauwatiki). we're about 10 minutes from downtown Milwaukee & a quick drive from Brookfield, Elm Grove & Shorewood. get directions.

free street parking is available on North Ave & the surrounding side streets.

absolutely, & plenty do! our cafe & gift shop are open to everyone. meet a friend, work from a couch, grab a glass of wine or pick up a local gift. no kid required.

it's kind of our specialty. bring the aunt, the coworker or the friend without kids. you get real coffee, beer & wine & actual food, and the little ones get a whole play space while you catch up.

we're always happy to meet people who love kids, coffee & community. fill out our jobs form & we'll be in touch when a spot opens up.

open play runs tuesday thru friday from 8am to 8pm & saturday & sunday from 8am to 1pm. mondays are for classes, so there's no open play. holiday hours & member-only times are on our hours & pricing page, and our calendar has every class & event.

open play is $12 for 60 minutes or $16 for 90 minutes per child. siblings get $1 off, one grown-up per kid plays free & babies 0 to 6 months are always free. families who come often save big with a membership.

nope, walk-ins are welcome! we do recommend reserving a spot on rainy days, weekday mornings & weekends, when we fill up fastest. it also makes check-in quicker.

we keep the play space to about 25 kids at a time so it stays fun & safe for everyone. on busy days the wait is usually under 15 minutes, and grabbing a coffee in the cafe makes it fly by.

it's designed for ages 6 months to 6 years. older siblings are welcome too, as long as they're gentle with the littles & follow the play space rules (no running, throwing or rough housing).

yes, socks are required for everyone in the play space, and grip socks are best. shoes go in the cubbies by the front. forgot socks? we sell them at the counter.

open play isn't drop-off, so a grown-up needs to stay & supervise their own kiddos. our team is always there to help with play. looking for drop-off? check out Story Sprouts, our preschool-style drop-off class for ages 3 to 5.

yes! our climber is commercial-grade & built for grown-ups & kids alike. we love seeing parents in there.

we do! there's a beer & wine list for the grown-ups, and happy hour runs tuesday thru friday from 4 to 6pm with $6 taps & $11 boards.

outside food & drinks aren't allowed in the cafe or play space, but water bottles & sippy cups are always welcome. our snack trays are a big hit with little eaters.

yes, grown-ups can bring drinks into the play space, just keep them up high & away from little hands. food stays in the cafe seating area to keep the play space clean.

Playmakers is $28/month, Daydreamers is $50/month (with 6 class & event passes & 2 guest passes) & Wondermakers is $115/month (with 26 class & event passes & 4 guest passes). every tier has a pay-up-front option that saves even more.

yes! one price covers your whole immediate family, whether you have 1 kid or 12. it covers any grown-up who brings them too, like grandparents, nannies or friends. just ask & we'll make an extra member card for free.

a play-based toddler class for ages 1 to 3 with a grown-up: parachute, music, storytime, sensory stations & a take-home craft, plus a book & snack every week. mondays at 9:30 or 11am, $25 per class ($20 for members) & your first class is always free. learn more.

we do, & we handle the timeline, staffing & clean-up so you can actually enjoy it. every party is a private rental of the whole cafe & play space. see party packages & open dates.

The Village Gathering is $400 for two private hours with a fully staffed cafe & bar. The Signature Celebration is $615 & adds a signature drink bar, a big Wisco charcuterie board & a sensory table. prefer a weeknight? monday evenings from 5 to 7pm are $300.

weekend parties run 2 to 4pm or 5 to 7pm, plus monday evenings from 5 to 7pm. every open slot is on our party calendar, and a $100 deposit saves your date.

absolutely. baby showers, gender reveals, playgroup parties & more. reach out thru our parties page & we'll help you plan it.

there's always an attendant in the play space, and we clean throughout the day & again after close. you'll see our yuck bins around the space: if a toy ends up in a little mouth, pop it in the bin & we'll sanitize it.

if your kiddo (or you) isn't feeling well, please stay home & come play when everyone's healthy. thank you for helping keep our village well!

yes. we have a cozy mother's room for feeding or a quiet moment, & diapers can be changed there or in the bathroom (not in the play space, please). our team is happy to help with supplies.
