Embracing this journey of self-discovery with patience and curiosity can be both empowering and rewarding... and a little scary & complicated too. We understand, we've been in the trenches too. You're not alone! ☀️ Let's navigate this adventure together through this 3-week Baby & Me: Self-Identity Series taking place on Mondays between June 3 and 17 from 8 - 9:30 am. 

The Baby & Me Series is led by local educator and mom, Kristin Heacox. Each weekly class will include a guided circle conversation on caregiving, songs & stretches centered around the theme of self-identity. 🌿

Over the course of the 3-week Self-Identity Series we will make heirloom pressed floral footprints. 🌸 You'll be able to take this stunning & sentimental keepsake home with you after the final class.

    What Is Baby & Me?

    Baby & Me Summer Series classes are 3-week long classes that take place every Monday from 8-9:30 am. This series is taught by local educator & mom, Kristin Heacox.

    Throughout the each Baby & Me series, we will embrace the journey of mental wellness alongside our precious little ones.

    Together, we'll explore gentle practices that nurture both baby's development and our own well-being, fostering a harmonious bond between caregiver and child.

    Let's bask in the warmth of supportive companionship as we navigate the joys and challenges of parenthood, cherishing each moment with mindfulness and tenderness.

    Baby & Me classes are a part of our Little Village Summer Series, which is a summer education program that takes place at the Little Village Play Cafe from Memorial Day to Labor Day.

    The Baby & Me Series is a collection of four 3-week long courses. All Baby & Me classes are held Mondays from 8-9:30am.

    • a keepsake art project that will be developed over the course of the 3-week series

    Appropriate Ages

    Our Baby & Me Series is designed for caregivers and their babies under one year of age.

    Our Approach

    Our approach to learning is simple - kids learn through play. Our educators are well-versed in creating meaningful experiences that enhance the love of learning. 

    We do this by implementing sensory experiences, integrating movement with exploration, and creating a shared sense of wonder. 

    We want to provide you and your kids opportunities for those "a-ha" moments through play-based learning experiences.

    How many children per class?

    Each class size is 25 children, plus 1 caregiver per child.

    Who is teaching the Summer Series classes?

    Our Summer Series classes are created and taught by an incredibly talented bunch of local educators and parents. Read their bios!

    Can I drop my child off?

    No, this class is intended for caregivers to participate alongside their child.

    Do I need to bring anything?

    Nope! Just bring your kiddo (& their socks. 😉) We'll take care of the rest.

    Are classes purchased individually or in a set?

    Baby & Me Series are purchased as a set of three classes.

    Can siblings join?

    To help ensure the intimacy of this series, children over the age of 1-year old are not able to participate.

    With that in mind, our Little Learners Summer Series classes gladly welcome siblings. We have offer $7 off for siblings with promocode "SIBLING" (and sibling babies under 1 year are free)
