Little Village Play Cafe is a private holiday party venue in East Tosa (Wauwatosa, WI), just west of Milwaukee. Rent our entire 3,600 sq. ft. coffee shop & play space for 2 hours: the kids play in our Montessori-inspired play area while the grown-ups enjoy espresso, beer, wine & actual conversation. We set up, staff it & clean up.

Can I rent Little Village for a private holiday party?
Yes! You can book our entire coffee shop & indoor play space in Wauwatosa for a 2-hour private holiday party. Parties run Saturdays & Sundays from 2 to 4pm or 5 to 7pm, plus Mondays from 5 to 7pm. Pick an open date on our calendar & a $100 deposit saves it.
Is Little Village a good Friendsgiving venue?
It's one of our favorites! Little Village is a cozy, family-friendly Friendsgiving venue near Milwaukee where kids can play while grown-ups enjoy food, espresso, beer & wine. Bring a potluck (outside food is a flat $100 fee, desserts are free), order catering from our party menu, or mix both.
How much does a holiday party rental cost?
Weekend rentals are $400 for the Village Gathering or $615 for the Signature Celebration. Monday evenings are $300. Every rental is 2 hours, & you can add an extra hour for $200. Food & drinks are settled on your tab at the end.
Can we host an office or work holiday party here?
Absolutely. Little Village is a great spot for a family-friendly work holiday party: coworkers can bring their kids to play, & grown-ups can enjoy beer, wine & espresso on one tab. Monday evenings are a budget-friendly weeknight option.
Do guests need to bring kids?
Not at all. We're a coffee shop & wine bar first, so grown-ups without kids feel right at home. Kids are always welcome, & our play attendants keep an eye on the play space.
How many guests can the space hold?
Our space is a comfortable fit for up to 50 adults & 30 kids, with cafe seating for up to 30 guests.
Do you serve beer & wine?
Yes. Every party has access to our full espresso bar plus beer & wine. Choose an open bar on one tab, a cash bar, or drink tickets. Outside drinks aren't allowed, but a free water station is always provided.
Can we decorate for the holidays?
Please do! We provide command hooks & a stand for hanging decorations, & you can play your own holiday playlist on our Sonos & show photos on our Frame TVs. We kindly ask you to skip confetti, glitter, piñatas & open flames (birthday candles are fine).
How far ahead should I book a holiday party?
November & December weekends are our busiest, so we recommend booking as early as you can. Every open slot is on the calendar above. If your date is less than a month away, email us & we'll do our best to make it work.
What's your cancellation policy?
Your $100 deposit is non-refundable, but cancel more than 30 days out & it becomes a Little Village credit good for 12 months, plus a full refund of your rental balance. Between 14 & 30 days, your balance is refunded at 50%. Inside 14 days we can't offer a refund or credit. Need to move your date? With 45 days' notice we'll move everything to a new date within 6 months, if available.

We're at 6505 W North Ave in Wauwatosa (East Tosa), just west of Milwaukee & close to Brookfield, Elm Grove & Shorewood. There's ample street parking on North Ave & nearby streets; just watch posted time limits.
