yes, we're a kids' cafe. we also take the food seriously: beautifully presented, generous enough to feed a crowd & good enough that guests from one to one hundred go back for seconds. we set it out, keep it refreshed & tidy up when you're done, and it all lands on one tab at the end of the party.

how drinkswork.

three ways to host the bar. pick one when we plan together & we run it however you're most comfortable. everything is charged on consumption & added to your final tab, so you only pay for what's poured.

open bar

the most generous option: you cover drinks for all of your guests. pick one of three ways to run it:

  1. unlimited. every drink, all party long, on your tab.
  2. with a limit. the first hour, or until the tab hits a number you set ($200, say). after that, guests buy their own.
  3. with parameters. you decide what the open bar covers: beer & wine only, coffee only, kids' drinks only, or any mix.

drink tickets

each guest gets a drink on you. anything beyond that, they buy. you choose how it works:

  1. who hands them out. you pass them to your guests, or we greet everyone with one at the door.
  2. how many. one per guest, or more if you'd like.
  3. what they're good for. anything on the menu, or just beer & wine, just coffee, or just kids' drinks.

only redeemed tickets land on your tab.

cash bar

the simplest option. guests buy their own.

  • our full menu is open to them the whole party: espresso bar, beer & wine, cafe drinks for the kids
  • a complimentary water station for everyone, always
  • nothing lands on your tab

mix & match: open bar for the first hour, then drink tickets. a kids'-drinks open bar plus a cash bar for grown-ups. tell us what feels right & we'll run it.

  • 1open bar, drink tickets or cash bar, with a time or dollar limit if you like. see how drinks work.
  • 2a 20% gratuity & a 3% service charge are added to all private event food & beverage purchases.
  • 3hosts may bring in their own food for a $100 charge. no outside beverages of any kind, including juice boxes & water. a complimentary water station is provided for all guests.
  • 4outside dessert is always welcome, with no fee for cake, cookies or cupcakes. bring on the sweets.
  • 5food & drinks are settled on your tab at the end of the party. your remaining rental balance is charged automatically on the tuesday 30 days before your party.
