Winter break is here, and if your days suddenly feel longer (& louder 🤪), you’re not alone. While school’s out and the weather keeps us indoors, we’re opening our doors a little wider with extended winter break hours, holiday playtimes, and plenty of space for kids to move, explore, and have fun.
Here’s everything you need to know about our winter break hours, holiday schedule, and what our regular winter rhythm will look like once school is back in session.
Extended Winter Break Hours (Open to Everyone)
During winter break, we’re opening our doors a little wider to give families more flexibility and more indoor playtime. These bonus hours are open to all families, not just members.
Winter break hours at Little Village:
- Mon, Dec 22: 8am–3pm (followed by our sold-out PJ Parties with Santa)
- Tues, Dec 23: 8am–8pm
- Wed, Dec 24: 8am–1pm - Closing early for Christmas Eve
- Thurs, Dec 25: Closed for Christmas Day
- Fri, Dec 26: 8am–8pm
- Sat, Dec 27: 8am-1pm
- Sun, Dec 28: 8am–1pm
- Mon, Dec 29: 8am–5pm (followed by our Potty Training Workshop with Tosa Peds)
- Tues, Dec 30: 8am–8pm
- Wed, Dec 31: 8am–1pm (followed by our NYE parties @ 2:30pm, 4:30pm & 6:30pm)
- Thurs, Jan 1: 8am-8pm (open all day for New Year's Day!)
- Fri, Jan 2: 8am-8p
- Sat, Jan 3: 8am-1pm
- Sun, Jan 4: 8am–1pm
These extended hours are perfect for:
- Indoor play during winter break
- Meeting friends when school is out
- A warm place to play on cold or snowy days
- Gathering with out-of-town guests
Regular Winter Hours (After Winter Break)
Once school resumes, we’ll settle into our cozy winter rhythm — a balance of open play, educator-led classes, and member-only perks. These are our standard winter hours most weeks.
Monday
- Little Learners toddler classes: 8:30–10am & 10:30am–12pm
- Baby & Me group: 1:30–2:30pm
- Member-only play: 3–5pm (become a member!)
Tuesday
- Member-only play: 8–10am with storytime at 9am (become a member!)
- Early Readers preschool classes: 11:30am–1:30pm
- Member-only play: 3–7pm (become a member!)
Wednesday
- Open for everyone: 8am–8pm

Thursday
- Open for everyone: 8am–8pm
- Messy Magic from 9-10am
- Nanny Hour from 9-10am - Nannies & grandparents get half off their drink with the purchase of playtime.

A Cozy Indoor Play Space for Winter in Milwaukee
Little Village Play Cafe is a family-friendly indoor play space in Wauwatosa, designed for children ages 6 months to 6 years. While kids explore, caregivers can relax with coffee, snacks, and a welcoming community atmosphere.
