just show your school ID or let us know where you work—preschools and daycares absolutely included—and your playtime is free with the purchase of any drink or snack from the café.
and honestly? it’s the least we can do.
teachers aren’t just teaching letters and numbers.
they’re calming nerves and drying tears.
they’re navigating big feelings and little conflicts.
they’re creating safe, supportive, enriching environments—day in and day out.
they’re showing up for our kids with empathy, energy, and enough supplies to run a small country.
and somehow, they keep doing it.
even when it’s hard.
even when it feels like not enough.
it’s a big job.
it’s a beautiful job.
and it’s one that deserves way more appreciation (and compensation, but that’s a whole other post).
this week, our little way of saying thank you is free playtime.
it’s a drop in the bucket.
but it comes with love and deep, deep gratitude.
