Little Learners Class: “Creepy Crawly Bugs" - A Play-Based Class for Toddlers
Monday, August 4 & Tuesday, August 5 at 8:30am and 10:30am
Dig into the wiggly world of bugs in this hands-on sensory class for toddlers and preschoolers! Kids will explore bug-themed sensory bins, rescue creepy crawlies from “mud,” and build their own bugs using playdough, pipe cleaners, and googly eyes.
We’ll finish with a fun snail craft and outdoor bug hunt to spark curiosity and creativity. Perfect for little learners who love nature, crafts, and sensory play!
Baby & Me Stroller Walk
Monday, August 4 at 1:30pm
Join us for a free, casual stroller walk for caregivers and babies! Meet other parents and caregivers, grab a coffee or smoothie from the café, and enjoy a relaxed, kid-friendly walk through the East Tosa neighborhood.
It’s the perfect way to get fresh air, connect with your village, and make new friends.
Bonus points for bringing a friend and supporting our cafe with a drink or snack purchase!
Little Joy Summer Reading Program: Mystery & Adeventure Week

Get ready for a storytime filled with clues, crafts, and curious discoveries! In this Mystery & Adventure–themed class, part of our Little Joy Summer Reading Program in Wauwatosa, kids will explore sensory bins with magnifying glasses, make treasure maps and fingerprint mazes, and solve a group mystery using invisible ink and teamwork.
Perfect for elementary age kids in kindergarten-5th grade. This summer reading program sparks the joy in reading.

Little Omies Toddler Yoga

Looking for toddler yoga in the Milwaukee area? Little Omies is a joyful, play-based yoga class for toddlers ages 2-4 and their caregivers, hosted at Little Village Play Cafe in Wauwatosa. This class blends movement, music, and mindfulness into a fun, welcoming experience.
Each session includes silly poses, freeze dance fun, calming breathing exercises, and a sweet cooldown, followed by 30 minutes of open play in our cozy, indoor play space.
No yoga experience needed. Just bring your little one and a sense of fun!

Looking for free family events near Milwaukee this summer? Join Little Village Play Cafe at Firefly Grove, Wauwatosa’s sprawling, brand-new park on the West Side of Tosa, for an evening of outdoor fun, food trucks & live music.
🌳 We’ll be set up near the pump park with bubbles, sidewalk chalk, and open-ended play activities that are perfect for toddlers and preschoolers. Enjoy live music, local food trucks, drinks, and all the summer vibes. (Plus, did we mention it's free?!)
🗓 Happening every Friday evening through August, while our cafe closes early. (Don’t worry - Friday Happy Hour at Little Village returns after Labor Day!)
