Little Learners Class: “Poppin' Bubbles" - A Play-Based Class for Toddlers
Monday, August 11 & Tuesday, August 12 at 8:30am and 10:30am
Dive into a bubbly world of fun in this hands-on class for toddlers and preschoolers! Kids will swirl soap water with bubble wands, make bubbly creations using sponges, and pop their way through sheets of bubble wrap.
We’ll wrap up with fingerprint bubble art to take home, blending sensory play with creativity. Perfect for little learners who love to splash, pop, and explore!
Baby & Me Stroller Walk
Monday, August 11 at 1:30pm
Join us for a free, casual stroller walk designed for caregivers and babies! We’ll meet at Little Village Play Cafe, grab a coffee or smoothie, and head out for a relaxed, kid-friendly stroll through the East Tosa neighborhood.
It’s a perfect way to get fresh air, connect with your village, and make new friends. And if the weather isn’t cooperating, we’ll bring the fun inside the cafe instead.
Bonus points for bringing a friend and supporting our cafe with a drink or snack purchase!
Little Joy Summer Reading Program: Fantasy Week

Step into a land of shimmering castles, fiery dragons, and brave knights in our Dragons & Knights Acting Class! This playful, story-driven workshop invites young adventurers to bring magical worlds to life through movement, imagination, and performance. From acting out daring rescues to creating enchanting mini-worlds, every moment is filled with wonder and creativity.
Together, we’ll explore fantasy tales, transform into magical creatures, and perform mini-scenes where dragons lose their roars and fairies fix their wands. Kids will dig for hidden treasure, craft their own fantasy terrariums, and finish the day with a magical parade through our “kingdom.” Big expressions, bold voices, and brave ideas are all encouraged — because in this realm, the possibilities are endless.

Window Faces Live Art by Maggie Butler

We’re thrilled to welcome Maggie Butler, born and raised in Milwaukee, now based in Seattle, for a special window art takeover, and you’re invited to join the fun!
On Tuesday from 10am-12pm and 1:30–3:30pm, Maggie will be doodling faces right on our cafe windows. Stop by to have your portrait sketched, browse her merch, and be part of the art.
While you’re here, we’d love it if you grabbed a drink or bite from the cafe. No reservations needed. Just pop in! (Please note: the play space will be closed for open play on Tuesday, but you're welcome to join us for Little Learners "Bubbles" Class @ 10:30am or Little Omies Toddler Yoga @ 3:30pm!
Little Omies Toddler Yoga

Searching for toddler yoga in the Milwaukee area? Little Omies at Little Village Play Cafe in Wauwatosa is a joyful, play-based yoga class for toddlers ages 2–4 and their caregivers. Together, you’ll move, stretch, dance, and breathe in a warm, welcoming space.
Each class features silly poses, lively freeze-dance games, calming breath work, and a gentle cooldown — then wraps up with 30 minutes of open play in our cozy indoor play space.
No yoga experience required. Just bring your little one, comfy clothes, and a big sense of fun!

It’s the perfect outing for curious kids and coffee-loving grown-ups searching for toddler-friendly fun in Milwaukee.
Nanny Hour: Half Off Drinks

Come spend a cozy, welcoming morning at Little Village Play Cafe in Wauwatosa for Nanny Hour — a relaxed time for nannies, grandparents, and other caregivers to connect while the kids play.

Fall Programming Released!

Our Fall 2025 Programming is almost here! September–December spots for our most-loved classes — Little Learners, Baby & Me, and Little Omies — are about to drop.
We’re also introducing two brand-new series:
- Early Readers — a preschool enrichment program designed to wrap around Junior Kindergarten and 4K classes in Wauwatosa and Milwaukee public schools. Classes run 90 minutes on Tuesdays at 10am and 12pm, with an optional lunch at 11:30am.
- Art Lab — a mini makers table open during playtime on Fridays from 3:30–5:30 PM and Saturdays & Sundays from 8–10am. Stop by to make fun, take-home crafts for all ages!
