Join us for a cozy, adults-only evening of swapping kids’ clothes and gear while socializing with fellow caregivers! It’s a fun, sustainable way to refresh your child’s wardrobe, score new-to-you treasures, and make connections in your community.

Swap & Refresh: Bring your gently-used kids’ clothes (baby through elementary), books, toys, puzzles, and gear to swap for new-to-you items from our community.
Socialize & Snack: Enjoy charcuterie boards, drink specials, and non-alcoholic options while mingling with friends—new and old.
Give Back: Bring a donation for Sojourner Family Peace Center and spin the giveaway wheel for fun prizes from Little Geese & Little Village!
Sustainability & Budget-Friendly: Help the planet, stretch your budget, and support fellow families while keeping usable items out of landfills.

💡 Haven’t attended a Sip & Swap yet? Here’s how it works:

We’ll fill the play space & cafe with pre-loved kids’ clothing and gear and spend the evening “shopping” while enjoying a cozy night out.

Bring up to 50 items in great condition (clean and free from stains/damage). If you don’t have items to contribute, you can still participate—just purchase a ticket & bring a donation for Sojourner Family Peace Center!

♻️ Items in less-than-perfect condition? We’ll have a textile recycling station available to ensure nothing goes to waste!

Any unclaimed items after the event will be donated to Milwaukee Rescue Mission, helping families in need.

What is a Sip & Swap?

A Sip & Swap is a fun, community-driven event where caregivers can bring gently-used kids’ clothing, books, toys, and gear to exchange for new-to-you treasures.

While you “shop,” you can sip on drink specials, snack on charcuterie boards, and enjoy a relaxed, social evening. It’s all about sustainability, connection, and discovering great finds for your family!

What is Little Geese Shop?

Little Geese Shop is a locally loved children’s resale and gift shop specializing in high-quality, gently-used kids’ clothing, toys, books, and gear. They focus on sustainability by giving pre-loved items a second life while supporting families in the community with affordable, eco-friendly options.

Little Geese currently has a residency in the Little Village Play Cafe gift shop and is working on opening their own brick-and-mortar location in the Tosa Village! 🎉 Follow them on Instagram @littlegeeseshop to keep up with their journey!

What does the cost of my ticket cover?

Your ticket helps cover event staffing, the venue, charcuterie snacks, and other hosting costs. Proceeds from the ticket sales will be donated to Sojourner Family Peace Center.

I don’t have items to swap. Can I still attend?

Absolutely! You're welcome to join without bringing clothes to donate. In fact, it's a perfect event to attend if you're a new or expecting parent looking to stock up your new babe's wardrobe. If you don't have clothing to contribute - please bring an item(s) to donate to Sojourner Family Peace Center.

What types of things should I bring?

Bring items you’d be excited to take home! We encourage clothing and gear in excellent condition, free of stains or damage.

What kinds of donations are Sojourner Family Peace Center collecting?

They are accepting personal hygiene items such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, deodorant, shampoo, conditioner, and body wash.

When can I drop off my swap items?

You can drop off items at Little Village Play Cafe starting Monday, January 20th during operating hours.

What happens to leftover items?

All unclaimed items will be donated to Sojourner Family Peace Center, ensuring they find a good home.

How many items can I donate?

You can bring up to 50 items per family to ensure everyone has a chance to participate and find treasures.

If you have more to give, we suggest bringing your best 50 please email hello@thelittlegeeseshop.com to coordinate your donation.

Will the drinks be included with my ticket?

Drinks are available for purchase at our Sip & Swap! We’ll have drink specials ($5 taps, mimosas & sangria) and a wide selection of non-alcoholic beverages, and cozy café favorites available for purchase.
