We are thrilled to announce our first-ever Future Voters Fest, happening on Friday, October 11th, from 10 AM - 1 PM. This event is a celebration of community, democracy, and—most importantly—the power of voting! 🗳️✨
What is Future Voters Fest?
The idea behind Future Voters Fest is simple: to help families get excited about voting while teaching kids the meaning of sharing their voice and the impact they can make in their community and world. This isn’t your typical “get out the vote” event—it’s a chance for little ones to learn what it means to vote through hands-on, engaging activities in a fun, family-friendly environment!
We’ll have kid-friendly voting ballots, DIY art stations, inspiring speakers, and some of our favorite local food vendors and community partners to help us pull off this special day. And the best part? It’s a free event, open to everyone! 🎉

What to Expect:
Here’s a sneak peek of some of the fun activities we have planned:
• Kid’s Voting Ballots: Just like adults, kids will be able to cast their votes—but for something a bit more tasty! Our food vendors will offer samples, and kids can vote for their favorites. The first 100 kid voters will receive a special “Future Voter” tote bag filled with goodies, and one lucky winner will go home with a grand prize bag full of gift cards, swag, and surprises!
• DIY Button & Yard Sign Making: Our friends at @motherhoodforgood are hosting a creative station where kids can design their own buttons and yard signs to express what matters to them. 🖍️
• Postcard Writing & Coloring: Hosted by @persisterswi, kids can write postcards or color in templates to send a positive message to their community and beyond. 🎨

From 11 AM - 12 PM, we’ll be joined by some incredible community leaders who will share their stories and get us all energized about the power of voting! We’re excited to welcome @robynvining, @birdforwi, @chasemycreations, and @ae.klu to the mic to inspire us all to make a difference. 🎤💫
